Sinhagad Fort: Located near Pune, it is famous for the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670.
Raigad Fort: The capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s kingdom, known for its strategic location and architecture.Pratapgad Fort: Known for the Battle of Pratapgad in 1659, where Shivaji defeated Afzal Khan.
Murud-Janjira Fort: A sea fort located on an island off the coastal village of Murud, famous for its impregnable structure.
Sindhudurg Fort: Located on an islet in the Arabian Sea, it was built by Shivaji and is known for its unique construction and historical significance.
