Floating solar farms, also known as floating photovoltaic (FPV) systems or floating solar panels, are solar power generation systems that are installed on bodies of water, such as lakes, reservoirs, or man-made ponds. They consist of photovoltaic panels mounted on floating structures that keep the solar panels above the water’s surface.
