An estuary is an area where a freshwater river or stream meets the ocean. Gorge is a narrow valley with steep sides and a river running through it. Archipelago is a group of islands with sea surrounding it. A fold is a bend in the rock strata. Folding: Is a type of earth movement resulting from the horizontal compression of rock layers by internal forces of the earth along plate boundaries.
