Rovsing’s sign is a clinical sign associated with acute appendicitis. It is elicited by palpating the left lower quadrant of the abdomen, which causes pain in the right lower quadrant when the inflamed appendix is pushed against the abdominal wall. Therefore, Rovsing’s sign is present in patients with acute appendicitis.
