Neeraj Chopra added to India’s medal tally at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a throw of 89.45 meters, his best season throw, in the final round of men’s javelin throw. He took silver as Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the gold with a record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters, the first gold for Pakistan in the javelin throw event. The bronze went to Grenada’s Anderson Peters, who finished with a throw of 88.54 meters.
