Camera traps have recorded a tiger’s movement from Sikkim’s Pangolakha Wildlife Sanctuary to Samste district in Bhutan. The 128 sq km sanctuary is a vital corridor for wildlife between India and Bhutan. The images highlight the importance of protecting transboundary wildlife corridors and successful conservation efforts. Pangolakha, Sikkim’s largest wildlife sanctuary, hosts diverse species like red pandas and snow leopards and connects with Neora Valley National Park and Bhutan’s forests.
