Mahatma Gandhi organized the Kheda Satyagraha in 1918. The movement was aimed at supporting the peasants of the Kheda district in Gujarat, who were struggling with high land revenue demands despite facing a severe famine and plague. Gandhi’s efforts were successful in securing relief for the peasants.
