Importance of Drug Bastar Chandrapur Belt is :-
i) Very high grade haematites are found in Bailadila range of hills in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh.
ii) This range of hills comprises of 14 deposits of super high grade haematite iron ore.
iii) It has the best physical properties needed for making steel.
iv) Iron ore from these mines is also exported to japan and south korea through Visakhapatnam port.
