A cricket match is typically divided into innings, with each team having the opportunity to bat and bowl. In each inning, the batting team tries to score as many runs as possible, while the bowling team aims to dismiss the batsmen and restrict the runs scored. The game is played on a circular field with a rectangular pitch at the center. The batting team sends two batsmen onto the pitch, while the bowling team has 11 players on the field. The bowler delivers the ball to the batsman, who attempts to hit it and score runs. Runs are scored by running between two sets of wickets or by hitting boundaries. The team with the most runs at the end of the match wins.
