To find your UPI ID or VPA, simply go to the profile section located on the top left corner of the main screen in the Paytm app. From there, you can easily access and share your UPI ID or VPA to initiate seamless transactions with others.19 Apr 2024
Your VPA is just your UPI ID — the ID people use to send you money. It looks like:
yourname@bank
mobilenumber@upi
To find it:
Open your UPI app.
Go to your profile or bank account section.
You’ll see “UPI ID” listed there.
Quick shortcuts:
• Google Pay → Tap profile photo → UPI ID
• PhonePe → Profile → My UPI IDs
• Paytm → Profile → UPI Settings
That’s it. Share the VPA to receive money. Never share your UPI PIN — that’s like your ATM PIN.

1. Smartphones (iOS/Android)
– **iOS (iPhone/iPad)**:
– Look for apps like Siri or Google Assistant, which act as VPAs.
– You can activate Siri by pressing and holding the home button or side button (depending on your device) or saying “Hey Siri” if enabled.
– Android:
– Google Assistant is the default VPA on most Android devices.
– Activate it by saying “Hey Google” or pressing and holding the home button or the dedicated assistant button on some devices.
2. Smart Speakers (e.g., Amazon Echo, Google Home)**
– These devices are entirely voice-activated.
– For Amazon Echo, say “Alexa” to activate it.
– For Google Home devices, say “Hey Google” or “OK Google” to activate Google Assistant.
3. Windows PC
– Windows PCs typically have Cortana as the VPA.
– You can access Cortana by clicking the Cortana icon on the taskbar or pressing the Windows key + C.
4. Mac
– Mac computers have Siri as the VPA.
– You can activate Siri from the Dock, menu bar, or by using the keyboard shortcut Command (⌘) + Space.
5. Other Devices
– Check the user manual or settings of your device for specific instructions on how to activate the VPA.
