Some animals, like electric fish and rays, use bioelectricity to navigate their environments. They generate electric fields and sense the distortions in these fields caused by objects or prey. This ability helps them locate food, communicate, and navigate through murky waters where vision might be limited. The electroreceptors in their bodies detect these electric signals and help them make sense of their surroundings.
