Coconut palm is monoecious, while Date palm is dioecious. In Date palm, the male and female flowers develop on separate individuals whereas, in coconut palm, it is developed of the same individual. The dioecious plant is the condition of unisexuality whereas the monoecious is the condition of bisexuality.
