While the primary risk factor for cervical cancer is HPV infection, which is primarily transmitted through sexual activity, there have been cases of cervical cancer in women who have never had sex. Therefore, it is still important for all women to undergo regular cervical cancer screenings as recommended by their healthcare provider.
