Bronze is an alloy of tin and copper.
It is composed of approximately 88% copper and 12% tin.
This metal alloy has a reddish-brown colour with a melting point that ranges from 950°C – 1050°C.
The principal function of the tin is to strengthen the bronze to increase the load-holding capacity, resistance, and ability to withstand corrosion.
