Sachin Tendulkar started playing cricket at the tender age of 11. His early talent was spotted by his elder brother Ajit Tendulkar, who encouraged him to pursue the sport seriously. Subsequently, he was enrolled in the cricket academy of coach Ramakant Achrekar, where his skills were honed.
