These lenses have one prescription power throughout the entire lens.
For nearsightedness (myopia) – helps you see distant objects clearly.
For farsightedness (hyperopia) – helps you see nearby objects clearly.
For astigmatism – corrects blurred vision caused by an irregularly shaped cornea.
2. Bifocal Lenses
These lenses have two different prescription powers:
The upper part is usually for distance vision.
