    How to find the volume?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:26 pm

In math, volume is the amount of space in a certain 3D object. For instance, a fish tank has 3 feet in length, 1 foot in width and two feet in height. To find the volume, you multiply length times width times height, which is 3x1x2, which equals six. So the volume of the fish tank is 6 cubic feet.

    How do you convert density?

Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:25 pm

To convert between the two different units of density, we can divide or multiply by 1,000. To go from kilograms per cubic meter to grams per cubic centimeter, we divide by 1,000. And to go the other way, we multiply by 1,000.

What is the law of density?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:23 pm

The formula for density is d = M/V, where d is density, M is mass, and V is volume. Density is commonly expressed in units of grams per cubic centimetre. For example, the density of water is 1 gram per cubic centimetre, and Earth's density is 5.51 grams per cubic centimetre.

Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:21 pm

Density has the units of mass divided by volume such as grams per centimeters cube (g/cm3) or kilograms per liter (kg/l). A block of wood has a mass of 8 g and occupies a volume of 10 cm3.

What is the SI unit of density?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:19 pm

Density is defined as the mass per unit volume of a substance. Density = Mass÷Volume. S.I. unit of mass is kg and that of volume is m3. Hence, S.I. unit of density is kg/m3.

    How to solve density?

    Paras Padhalni
    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:16 pm

The density of an object can be calculated using the equation density = mass / volume. This calculation gives a numerical value which describes the amount of mass that is confined within a specific volume of an object.

    Paras Padhalni Knowledge Contributor
Added an answer on July 7, 2024 at 11:14 pm

Density is a word we use to describe how much space an object or substance takes up (its volume) in relation to the amount of matter in that object or substance (its mass). Another way to put it is that density is the amount of mass per unit of volume.
