In India, paternity leave refers to the entitlement provided to male employees to take time off from work to care for their newborn child or to support their spouse during childbirth. In January 2022, the government allows male employees working in the public sector and some private sector organizations to avail paternity leave. The duration of paternity leave varies depending on the employer’s policies and can range from a few days to a few weeks. During paternity leave, employees are often entitled to receive their regular salary or a portion of it, as per their organization’s policies.

Step 1: Define your party’s name, symbol, ideology, and agenda. Choose a distinct name and symbol for your party to set it apart from others and register it with the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Step 2: Establish a core committee and draft a constitution. Assemble a group of founding members and leaders who will constitute the core committee responsible for decision-making and organizational management. Step 3: Complete registration with the ECI. To attain recognition as a political entity in India, initiate registration with the ECI, the governing body overseeing elections and political parties. Submit an application form accompanied by:
– Your party’s constitution copy
– A roster of office bearers and members
– A pledge of allegiance to the Constitution of India
– An affidavit confirming your party’s compliance with legal and national standards
– Payment of a Rs. 10,000 fee

The ECI will review your application and supporting documents. Upon approval, provisional registration will be granted, enabling you to contest elections using your party’s designated name and symbol.

Eligibility criteria for registering a political party:
When registering a political party in India, key requirements include
* A minimum of 100 members.
* Each possessing a valid election ID.
* All members must adhere to the criteria outlined in the Representatives of the People Act 1951.
* The party’s President must sign an affidavit, declaring assets and liabilities, which is sworn before a magistrate.
* Scrutiny for criminal backgrounds is conducted.
* Various documents including party name, objectives, membership details, organizational structure, and procedures for dispute resolution and financial management, must be submitted. Additionally, annexures and affidavits are required as per legal mandates.

A party should meet any of the 3 conditions listed below to be recognised as a state party:
In a state legislative assembly election, a party must obtain a minimum of six percent of the valid votes cast and secure at least two seats in that assembly.
In the Lok Sabha, a party needs to secure a minimum of six percent of the valid votes cast and win at least one seat.
A party must win at least three percent of the total number of seats allocated to the state. Furthermore, under the revised criteria, a party can be eligible for recognition as a state party if it obtains eight percent or more of the total valid votes cast in the state.

Here are the steps to distress furniture:

1. Prepare Your Space: Lay down drop cloths and remove any hardware from the piece. Lightly sand the object and wipe it clean.

2. Paint the Piece: Apply a base coat of paint to the entire piece. For a distressed look, use two colors of paint so the base color shows through when distressed.
