The Darjeeling Toy train runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling and it also passes through one of the highest stations in the world that is Ghum. This station is nestled at an altitude of 2258 meters and offers a spectacular aura filled with natural bliss.

This toy train ride of Darjeeling is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and this popular ride connects Darjeeling with Siliguri. It is one of a kind experience and is one of the famous narrow 2 feet gauge trains.

The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Train started operating in the year 1881 and it covers a total distance of approx 88 kilometers. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers a unique experience and takes you to the beautiful landscape of the hill station. Darjeeling Toy Train is a true marvel of engineering which has the capabilities of covering some of the really treacherous hills and serves as a connection between the lower plains and hills. This toy train of Darjeeling still has certain locomotives which are steam based but those locomotives are not allowed for the steep areas.

The toy train moves really slowly so that one can absorb the breathtaking aura and can have a delightful visual treat. This train is a true icon of heritage since the colonial days and offers the best possible way to get lost in the charm of Himalayas. However, the diesel used currently makes the train move a little faster. Passengers on board can also see an attendant standing in the front and putting sand on the track to overcome the issues of monsoon time.

Venus, which is floating higher each evening in twilight, low in the west, is the slowest-spinning body in the known universe. If you walked along a bike path that circles its equator, you’d only need to go four miles an hour to keep night from ever falling on Venus.

While Earth takes 24 hours to complete one spine, our day on Venus would last 5,832 hours. Why so slow? One reason is the friction caused by Venus’ thick atmosphere and hurricane-speed winds. With a toxic blanket of carbon dioxide, the surface pressure on Venus is 90 times what we experience on Earth at sea level.

It is a large center of agricultural business, with numerous farms and a wide variety of serving businesses, including providing wind energy and other innovations. There is a small cargo port in the town, which makes Hambantota a center of transportation and commerce.

Kandy is a major city located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the Sinhalese monarchy from 1469 to 1818, under the Kingdom of Kandy. The city is situated in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea.

Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988. Historically the local Buddhist rulers resisted Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonial expansion and occupation.

The apparent weight of an object in an orbiting satellite is zero.

Satellite performs uniform circular motion around the earth. Hence it experiences a centripetal acceleration. This centripetal acceleration is same as acceleration due to gravity at that height. Object in the satellite has same acceleration as that of satellite. Hence the object can’t produce a force or action on the surface of the satellite. Since there is no action, there is no force of reaction or normal reaction or apparent weight . Hence apparent weight of an object in an orbiting satellite is zero.
