If contractor is willing to have a place of business in a state where he is supplying his services in respect of a contract, then only he is required to get registered in such state, otherwise he can provide such service as inter-state supply and can charge IGST on the same.

If it would be an insulator then the charge given to the disc would not reach to the strips and strips will never diverge.

What is the mechanism of gold leaf electroscope?

    Anjalik

Added an answer on June 22, 2024 at 9:28 pm

It works based on electromagnetic interaction and charge resistance. Two thin gold leaves and an electrical conductor substance are strung nearby and nearly in contact with each other in this electroscope. Because the leaves are so thin, they lack firmness and dangle limply

    Why does gold leaf rise?

    Anjalik
    Anjalik Curator
Added an answer on June 22, 2024 at 9:28 pm

A gold leaf electroscope measures potential difference between the leaf and the base (or earth). The leaf rises because it is repelled by the stem (support). The leaf and its support have the same type of charge.

What are the parts of a gold leaf electroscope?

    Anjalik

Added an answer on June 22, 2024 at 9:26 pm

It consists of a brass rod with a brass disk at the top, and at the bottom, there are two thin gold leaves in the form of foils. In order to keep the rod in place, the rod travels through the insulator. The charges move from the disk to the leaves through the rod.
