The biggest difference between ceramic coating and traditional wax is the level of protection and durability they provide. Traditional wax sits on top of the paint and creates a temporary protective layer. It enhances shine and offers basic protection against dirt, water, and minor contaminants. However, this protection gradually wears away due to washing, sunlight, rain, and daily driving conditions. Ceramic coating works differently. It forms a strong bond with the vehicle’s paint surface and creates a semi-permanent protective layer.
