The region of planet Earth where life exists is known as the biosphere. The biosphere encompasses all the parts of Earth’s crust, waters, and atmosphere where living organisms are found. It includes various ecosystems such as forests, oceans, grasslands, deserts, and all forms of life from microorganisms to plants and animals. The biosphere interacts with the atmosphere, hydrosphere (water), and lithosphere (rock and soil) to support and sustain life on Earth.
