A microorganism is a tiny, living organism such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa that can only be seen with a microscope.
They cannot be seen with the naked eye because they are extremely small, typically ranging from 0.2 to 100 micrometers in size, much smaller than the resolution of human vision.
