The Father of Trigonometry is Hipparchus of Nicaea. Hipparchus, an ancient Greek astronomer and mathematician who lived in the 2nd century BCE, is credited with the development of trigonometry as a distinct branch of mathematics. He compiled the first known trigonometric table and made significant contributions to the understanding of the relationships between the angles and sides of triangles.
