The Father of Pakistan is Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was the leader of the All-India Muslim League and played a key role in the creation of Pakistan as a separate nation for Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. Jinnah’s advocacy for the two-nation theory and his leadership during the crucial period leading up to independence in 1947 earned him the title “Quaid-e-Azam,” meaning “Great Leader.” He served as Pakistan’s first Governor-General until his death in 1948.
