The economic theory known as “trickle-down economics” is often associated with the economist Arthur Laffer. While Laffer himself did not coin the term, his economic ideas, particularly his “Laffer Curve” concept, have been influential in shaping the theory behind trickle-down economics. This theory posits that tax cuts for the wealthy and businesses will lead to increased investment, economic growth, and benefits that will “trickle down” to the broader population.
