The Krishna river’s source is at Mahabaleshwar near the Jor village in the extreme north of Wai Taluka, Satara District, Maharashtra in the west and empties into the Bay of Bengal at Hamsaladeevi (near Koduru) in Andhra Pradesh, on the east coast.
