The state bird of Meghalaya is the Hill Myna.
The hill myna (Gracula religiosa) is the state bird of Meghalaya. It has a shiny green-black top, a bright orange-yellow patch on its bare skin, and fleshy braids on its head and neck. It also has a large white wing patch that is visible during flight but is usually covered when it’s perched.
