The Supreme Court of India is the highest court of appeal in the country. It is the apex judicial authority, and its decisions are binding on all other courts in India. The Supreme Court has the power to hear appeals against judgments from lower courts and tribunals, and it also has original jurisdiction in certain cases, such as disputes between states or between the central government and states.
