The Indian union territories that have only one district are:
Lakshadweep: This union territory consists of 36 islands, and the entire territory is administered as a single district.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu: After the merger of Dadra and Nagar Haveli with Daman and Diu in January 2020, this union territory has one district.
Chandigarh: Although it serves as the capital for both Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh is also a union territory and is administered as a single district.
