You may check the IRQ availability while installing PCI NICS by looking at the motherboard BIOS’s CONFIG. SYS jumper settings and dip switches. BIOS stands for ‘basic input/output system’. It is pre-installed and is system firmware that is kept on a chip on your motherboard.
