The “Wood Wide Web” is an underground network of fungal connections called mycorrhizae that link the roots of trees and plants. Through this network, trees can share nutrients, warn each other of dangers like pests, and even support weaker trees by sending them extra resources. It’s like a hidden internet of the forest, with trees as the users.
