Hippocrates, often called the “Father of Medicine,” is renowned for his approach to medicine based on observation and clinical practice rather than religious or superstitious beliefs. He advocated for a diet-based approach to health, the importance of hygiene, and the concept of the body’s four humors (blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile) in maintaining health and diagnosing disease.
