A Golgi body has two faces and they are the Cis face (convex side) and Trans face (concave side). It has a zone of clear cytoplasm known as the zone of exclusion. It consists of flattened sac-like structures which are known as cisternae. Here, cisternae are held parallel and lie one above the other.
