The atmosphere of Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, with traces of methane, ammonia, and water vapor.
The primary component of Jupiter’s atmosphere is hydrogen, making up about 75% of its composition. Following hydrogen is helium consituting around 24%. These two elements dominate the atmosphere’s composition, with trace amount of other gases like methane, ammonia and water vapor present. Overall, jupiter’s atmosphere is predominantly composed of hydrogen and helium gases.
