The full form of TVS is “Thirukkurungudi Vengaram Sundaram,” named after its founder, T. V. Sundaram Iyengar. The company was founded by T. V. Sundaram Iyengar in 1911 and initially started as a bus service provider. Later, it diversified into various businesses including automobiles, finance, and logistics. Today, TVS Group is one of the largest conglomerates in India, with TVS Motor Company being one of its prominent subsidiaries.
