Switching in computer networking refers to the process of forwarding data packets from one network segment to another within a network. In large networks, there can be multiple paths from sender to receiver. The switching technique will decide the best route for data transmission. Switching technique is used to connect the systems for making one-to-one communication.. Three major types of switching include
1) Circuit Switching 2) Message Switching 3) Packet Switching
