Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL): KCL states that the algebraic sum of currents entering and leaving a junction (or node) in an electrical circuit is zero. It’s like saying water flowing into a junction in pipes equals the water flowing out.

Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL): KVL states that the algebraic sum of the voltage drops (or changes in potential) around any closed loop in an electrical circuit is zero. In other words, the sum of the voltages across all the elements (resistors, capacitors, etc.) in a closed loop equals the sum of the voltage sources (batteries, generators, etc.) in that loop. it’s like saying if you start from one point in a circuit, go around in a loop, and come back to the same point, the total change in voltage you encounter must be zero.
