A combination reaction, also known as a synthesis reaction, is a type of chemical reaction in which two or more simple substances combine to form a more complex compound.

These reactions can be represented by the general formula:
    [ A + B ———> AB ]
where (A) and (B) are the reactants that combine to form the product (AB). Combination reactions are common and occur in many different contexts, such as the formation of water from hydrogen and oxygen gases, or the creation of ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen gases. These reactions are fundamental in both industrial processes and biological systems, contributing to the formation of a wide variety of chemical compounds.

A combination reaction, also known as a synthesis reaction, is a chemical reaction where two or more substances combine to form a single new substance. The general form of a combination reaction is A+B→AB

Some of common examples of Combination Reactions are:
    Formation of Sodium Cholride.
    Formation of Magnesium Oxide.
    Formation of Barium Fluoride.
    Formation of Ammonia.
    Formation of Other Substances.

Combination reaction is a type of chemical reaction in which two or more reactants react with each other to give one or more products.
    Example :
Sodium (Na) + Chlorine(Cl) —-> Sodium Chloride (NaCl)
Where Sodium(Na) amd chlorine (Cl) are the reactants.
and Sodium Chloride is formed as a product after their combination reaction.
Reactants are written on Left side of the arrow and products are written on the Right side of arrow.

A combination reaction is a reaction in which two or more substances combine to form a single new substance. Combination reactions can also be called synthesis reactions. The general form of a combination reaction is:

    A+B→AB

One combination reaction is two elements combining to form a compound. Solid sodium metal reacts with chlorine gas to produce solid sodium chloride.

    2Na(s)+Cl2(g)→2NaCl(s)

In order to write and balance the equation correctly, it is important to remember the seven elements that exist in nature as diatomic molecules: H2
    , N2
    , O2
    , F2
    , Cl2
    , Br2
    , and I2
