During the later vedic period the marriage between persons of the same gotra was forbidden. We also find the mention of the Chandrayana which is a penance for men marrying women of the same gotra.
Chandrayaan-1 was the first Indian lunar probe under the Chandrayaan programme. It was launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation in October 2008, and operated until August 2009. The mission included an orbiter and an impactor.
