Traditionally, and in current first-class matches, Surrey fielders wear a brown cricket cap with their cricket whites, whilst batsmen wear a brown helmet. As a result, the club is occasionally nicknamed the ‘Brown Caps’. Surrey’s badge is a brown shield with white Prince of Wales’s feathers and the club name.
