Burnout can manifest itself in different ways. The most common symptoms include constant exhaustion and a feeling of fatigue even when you are resting. You may experience increased irritability, withdrawal from work or interests, and feelings of pessimism. Physical symptoms include headaches, muscular discomfort, and sleep problems. You may feel overworked, unmotivated, or cynical. Difficulty concentrating and reduced production are also common. If you get sick frequently, this could be an indication that your immune system is weakened. Recognizing these signs early will help you manage and minimize burnout.
