Tulsidas wrote the “Ramcharitmanas” during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, specifically in the late 16th century. The epic poem, which recounts the life and deeds of Lord Rama, was completed around 1574.
Tulsidas began writing the Ramcharitmanas in Ayodhya in Vikram Samvat 1631 (1574 CE).
Tulsidas wrote the Ramcharitmanas during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century, around 1574–1579. The text is a retelling of the Ramayana in the Awadhi dialect and is highly regarded in Hindu literature and devotion.
