K2 with 8,611 meters/28,251 feet. It is also known as Savage Mountain. K2 located in Karakorum Pakistan. It is located on the border of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and China. The death rate is higher than all other mountains. but the death rate in recent years has been decreasing.
The most popular route on K2 is the Abruzzi Spur, or the Southeast Ridge, which begins on the Pakistani side of the mountain.
First ascent: July 31, 1954.
