A recent discovery near the Great Pyramid of Giza unveils a buried structure, potentially reshaping our understanding of ancient Egyptian monuments. The Great Pyramid, built by Khufu around 2580 BC, stands as the largest of the Giza Pyramids. Located on the Giza plateau near Cairo, it held the title of world’s tallest human-made structure for over 3,000 years until the Eiffel Tower’s completion in 1889. Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie excavated it in 1880.
