The Chota Nagpur Plateau covers much of Jharkhand. Which are the other states covered at some extent by this plateau?

    The Chota Nagpur Plateau covers much of Jharkhand and also parts of several states viz. Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh. Its north-east side is Indo-Gangetic plain while its south side is the Mahanadi river. Total area of Chota Nagpur Plateau is approximately 65,000 KM².
