TNPSC and UPSC are hard in different ways. UPSC has a much wider syllabus and national-level competition. TNPSC has a more focused syllabus but intense competition within Tamil Nadu. TNPSC questions are often very specific to state history, polity, and current affairs. Difficulty depends more on your background and preparation style than on the exam label itself.
