How can we prepare a solution of 2 molar hydrochloric acid in one liter? HCl can be obtained with different concentrations of HCL in water. V1 = 1*2/12.2 = 0.164 L or 164 mL of 12.2M HCl diluted to 1 Liter with water will yield a 2M solution.
