Place 100 mL of distilled and degassed water in a volumetric flask of 1 L volume. Then accurately weigh approximately 80 g of NaOH (equivalent to 2 mol of substance) in a weighing boat on an analytical balance and transfer it to the volumetric flask (use a solid funnel).
