Valley of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a paradise for nature enthusiasts in Uttarakhand, is approximately 300 kilometers from Dehradun. The most common way to travel there is by road. By road, you can take the National Highway 7 (NH7) or the Dehradun-Rishikesh Highway, which offers a scenic drive of around 10 to 12 hours by car or bus, depending on traffic and road conditions. Alternatively, you can opt for a guided tour or private taxi service for a more comfortable and convenient journey. Valley of Flowers’ vibrant alpine meadows, cascading waterfalls, and diverse flora and fauna make it a popular trekking destination during the monsoon season, offering visitors a breathtaking natural spectacle amidst the tranquility of the Himalayas.
